Report: Warriors "Zeroing In" On Trade for Kevin Durant
Could it really be happening? With the Phoenix Suns' continued frustration in being unable to unload Bradley Beal, and therefore being unable to acquire Jimmy Butler, it sounds like they're ready to go in another direction, and trade Kevin Durant.
And the Golden State Warriors are "zeroing in" according to Brett Siegel of Clutch Points.
We could be seeing a reunion between two legends soon 👀

In Durant's three seasons with the Dubs from 2016 through 2019, they won two championships, with Durant earning Finals MVPs each time. Their lone failed title bid came after KD tore up his Achilles during the Finals in Toronto.
ESPN insider Brian Windhorst notes that the Warriors have been searching for another star player for a year now, to give Steph Curry another shot at a title. "Is it possible that Kevin Durant will be traded to the Warriors? Yes."

Windhorst adds that it could take a four or five team trade, that somehow might even involve Butler.
"I don't know how you go back if this doesn't work, because now the world knows that the Warriors are trying to get KD back."
