Breaking: NBA Hands Out 5 Suspensions After Big Pistons/T-Wolves Scrap
The Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves went at it on Sunday, with a big brawl involving several players on both teams. The NBA has now handed down discipline, with five players getting suspended for a total of six games.
NBA discipline for Pistons-Timberwolves scuffle, sources tell ESPN:
— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) April 1, 2025
- Isaiah Stewart: 2 game suspension
- Donte DiVincenzo: 1 game suspension
- Ron Holland: 1 game suspension
- Naz Reid: 1 game suspension
- Marcus Sasser: 1 game suspension
Isaiah Stewart, to no one's surprise, takes a two-game suspension, while Donte DiVincenzo, Ron Holland, Naz Reid and Marcus Sasser each receive a game apiece.
It all began to build over a number of possessions early in the 2nd quarter with a few minor altercations and finger-pointing, but then it exploded and spilled into the front row under the T-Wolves basket.
DiVincenzo, Reid, Holland, Stewart, Sasser, along with Pistons head coach J. B. Bickerstaff and Wolves assistant coach Pablo Prigioni were all ejected.
More to come...
