NBA Trade Rumors: Spurs Looking At Adding 2 Superstars This Summer
Despite missing the playoffs, the San Antonio Spurs are one of the sexiest teams around in the NBA, and one of the most in-demand for free agents and other stars looking to change teams. We can thank Victor Wembanyama for that.
But even after acquiring star point guard De'Aaron Fox from the Sacramento Kings at the trade deadline, the team is rumored to be looking at two other superstars around the league to add to the Wemby/Fox duo this summer.
Here is what Jake Fischer has to say about the Spurs being a team interested in Giannis this summer.

He also adds that there are “whispers” around the league of them bringing in Kevin Durant.

Insider Jake Fischer said on a Bleacher Report video episode that the Spurs will be interested in adding one or both of all-time NBA greats Giannis Antetonkounmpo and Kevin Durant, who have 3 MVPs between them.
San Antonio is definitely going to be, without a doubt, a team that is looking to upgrade its talent around Victor Wembanyama. We're already seeing the process happen. We've seen Chris Paul sign there, we've seen them go out and get the guard (Fox) that they were looking for to pair with Wembanyama...
So, what's next? People around the league are already starting to whisper about San Antonio potentially being a spot to bring former Texas Longhorn Kevin Durant this summer. (And) you best believe they would call about Giannis Antetokounmpo as well. So that's a team around the league that people are certainly looking at.
We've heard about another NBA team that has made the Greek Freak their 'No. 1 priority' this offseason as well, and there will be many others too. So the Spurs won't be alone in that pursuit—IF Giannis decides to look at greener pastures if the Bucks are ousted early in these playoffs. They currently trail the Pacers 3-1 with Game 5 Tuesday night.
We have also heard on numerous occasions in recent weeks that the Suns and KD will be working together on a trade for the legendary scorer this summer.
