NBA Trade Rumors: Top 3 Odds-On Favorites To Land Antetokounmpo

Three teams lead the way as the top odds-on favorites to land Giannis Antetokounmpo, if he is moved from the Milwaukee Bucks this summer.

The Milwaukee Bucks have given themselves a chance in their first round series with the Indiana Pacers, winning Game 3 to now trail the series 2-1. But the spectre of another early playoff exit still looms. And if that comes to fruition, Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to many around the NBA, may be headed out of Milwaukee.

According to the booking line at Bovada, three teams lead the way as the top odds-on favorites to land Antetokounmpo, if he is moved from the Bucks this summer.

Brooklyn Nets

The Nets lead the way as the clear favorite at -200. The rebuilding team has made acquiring Giannis this summer its 'Number one priority,' as we've heard for weeks now. What makes this a surprising favorite, though, is the fact that the Greek Freak has repeatedly said that competing for championships year after year is his top goal, and it seems that being on a team that has been selling off assets for the past couple of years might not be the most conducive to that.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs have become the trendy team to be among the favorites of where every relocating star wants to go these days, as everyone wants to play with Wemby. Victor Wembanayama, the 2024 NBA Rookie of the Year, the French Phenom, is the most unique player to come into the league in decades, and what star doesn't want to be a part of it? Can you imagine the length and freakish talents of Giannis and Wemby together?

The Spurs are +325 as Antetokounmpo's next destination.

Los Angeles Lakers

What list of NBA trade destinations for a superstar would be complete without the Lakers near the top? The odds say +450, but it's hard to imagine how the Lakers could make that happen. Could we get a team with Luka Doncic, LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo sharing the limelight? Even the lights of Hollywood might not be bright enough to contain this potential threesome.
