Sacramento Kings Reunite With Former Guard After 2 Year Absence From NBA

Although he hasn't played in the NBA in two years, a strong showing in the G League this season has earned guard Terence Davis a new contract in the Association, as he's rejoined his former team, the Sacramento Kings.

Davis last played in the NBA with the Kings in 2023, and spent parts of three seasons there, averaging 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and just under 36% shooting from long range in 121 games with the team, in 16.2 minutes per night.

In the G League this season, with the Wisconsin Herd, Davis averaged 14.3 points on 40.2% shooting from three-point land, along with 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

Last season, he played just four games for the Rip City Remix in the G League before suffering a season-ending ruptured Achilles injury.

Davis spent the first year and a half of his career with the Toronto Raptors.

The 27-year-old will now serve as depth on the bench for the Kings in their final few games.

Sacramento is sitting in the 9-seed in the Western Conference with three games to play. They are in a position to participate in the Play-In, where they will likely face the Dallas Mavericks. They would need to win that game, plus one more against either the 7th or 8th place finisher in the conference, in order to advance to the NBA playoffs proper.
