Shocking Revelation: Celtics Offered Jaylen Brown to Nets in Trade
In a stunning new revelation, insider Shams Charania has reported that the Boston Celtics offered Jaylen Brown in a trade to the Brooklyn Nets that would have brought Kevin Durant to Beantown, back in the summer of 2022.
Kevin Durant was ALMOST a Celtic had the Nets agreed to this package in 2022, per Shams:

The Nets, of course, declined the offer, and Boston stayed the course which eventually, two years later, got them their first NBA title in 16 years, with Brown and White playing key roles.
Durant, meanwhile, eventually coerced his way out of Brooklyn later in the 2022-23 season, and is now trying to get out of Phoenix, with five teams being prime suitors this summer.

Durant, at the age of 36, is still one of the most lethal offensive weapons in the game, averaging 26.6 points this season, while shooting 43% from three-point range.
