Top 3 Destinations For Nikola Jokic if He Wants Out of Denver
The shocking firing of head coach Michael Malone by the Denver Nuggets this week was an earth-shattering move in the NBA, but things could get even wilder if three-time MVP Nikola Jokic decides he's had enough of the franchise and wants to move on.
Clutch Points Betting (via Bovada) has posted the odds of Jokic's top three landing spots if he were to leave Denver, and while you won't be surprised at the betting favorite, the next two will shock you.

Here are the Jokers next team odds:

& wait for the next two…

The Los Angeles Lakers, of course, are the betting favorite at +500. Jokic's best buddy, Luka Doncic, now resides in Hollywood, and LA would likely move heaven and earth to get Jokic to join him.
Clutch Points has suggested one offering the Lakers could attempt to make would include breakout star Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Maxi Kleber, Gabe Vincent, 2026, 2028 and 2030 first-round pick swaps, and a 2031 first-round pick. But that doesn't seem like it would come anywhere close to satisfying the Nuggets' needs in any Jokic deal.
The runners-up as the next two favorites for The Joker that Bovada Sports put on the list, are Serbian League teams: KK Mega Basket at +600 and KK Joker at +800.
Is Jokic ready to head back home and forego all the drama of the NBA? That's about as doubtful as the Lakers being able to land him with that trade package.
Denver is in a wild scramble for the 4th through 8th seeds in the Western Conference, with only one game in the loss column separating five teams, with two games to play.
