'Zero Percent Chance' Bradley Beal is Back In Phoenix: 4 Teams Frontrunners To Take Him
After he refused to be traded at the deadline (invoking his full no-trade clause), while dragging the team down statistically whenever he's on the court, the Phoenix Suns are trying to rid themselves of Bradley Beal and his two more onerous no-trade years of $111 million dollars in salary.
"He has held this organization hostage long enough," says Phoenix insider John Gambadoro, who then puts the odds of Beal being back next season at precisely ZERO.

"There is a zero percent chance that Bradley Beal is back on this team next year. ZERO PERCENT... There's no wiggle room. Bradley Beal, come hell or high water, is not going to be on this basketball team next year. He is going to be gone... This guy has held this organization hostage long enough."
Gambadoro even goes on to suggest that a buyout is possible, but one way or another, he's clearly gone. And if Suns owner Mat Ishbia decided to bite that very expensive bullet and buy out Beal, there are four teams that the insider says are frontrunners to sign him.
The Heat, Nuggets, Spurs, and Warriors are among the teams that could pursue Bradley Beal if the Suns buy out his max contract, per @Gambo987

He labels the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors as teams that would pursue Beal as a free agent. Without that albatross of a contract to deal with, teams would be much more inclined to consider the 32-year-old. Even if he has only played more than 53 games in a season once in the last six years.
For his career, Beal has averaged 21.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists while shooting 37.6% from three-point land. With Phoenix this past season, he averaged a nine-year low 17 points per game, with eight-year lows in both rebounds (3.3) and assists (3.7).
With Kevin Durant likely to be dealt this summer, and Beal on his way out, this will be a very different Phoenix Suns team in 2025-26. After watching them finish in 11th place in the Western Conference, out of the playoffs and even the Play-In, fans in the desert can certainly get on board with that.
